i don't know much about supertech but from what i hear its good stuff. i have ferrea and they're a reputable name in valves. you can't go wrong with either one.

You'd honestly be fine on stock valvetrain
But yes, this is all you would need for a high-reving motor.

i dont get it, why would you want to replace the valves? your just running a drag turbo kit, not bashing the kit, but i think money could be spent where else where, springs and reatainers are a good investment, new valves? no so much with your setup.

Re: (laocivic)
I wouldn't recommend stock valvetrain on a turbo, no matter how small the turbo is. Stock springs only have about 25# with the valve closed. Factor in some boost...can you say float?
We have had great results with REV valves and their valvetrain.
We have used the valve in big turbo big HP motors as well and it holds up great.
I can get you a price on it.
I would recomend at least Valve Job that PR3 head.

i use supertech black coated valves and they have held up great. the price is good too. i burned up a srp piston with nitrous and the valve was fine except for the melted aluminum on it.

why should he replace the valves? that is retarded.
Get retainers and springs so you dont have valve float, which you most likely wont unless your spinning it pretty high. RPM is the main factor in valve float. New valves are such a waste of money in your situation, stock vtec heads have been taking to over 500+whp easily without problems.

mine was a little under, but thats through my shop.
it isnt the turbo that necessitates the valvetrain, it is how high you are going to spin the engine.

Re: (quicksilver1689)
Becouse the stock ones tend to break.
a supertech valvetrain cost you a bit over $500 and are well spent.
