Default Best type of gauges?

I was wondering what you guys think would be the best most accurate gauges to use for a turbo app.Right now i have all autometer gauges,oil pressure,egt,boost/vac,a/f ratio,volt meter.Should i sell these gauges and purchase some greddy,defi,apexi gauges or another type of brand?

I really like Greddy, Apex, & defi. I do not like autometer to much but they do work. I just like the quality of them. But for the price you pay I guess you cant go wrong.

Autometer is good quality. They are just very expensive.

i have autometers and they work great, your paying for a more flashy name and features with the other gauges imo ;
they are all accurate or they wouldnt be on the market as long as they have been .

Yes nate is a high roller and loves his Greddy gauges
I still think my Autometer carbon fibers look better though

It is more of a personal perference issue I think. Autometers will work fine but I like my Greddy's much better. Defi's are great too but a tad pricey for what I need.
After using the Greddy's I'd never go back to the "stone age" Autometers. The harness connections, illumination, and quality of the Greddy's beats them hands down IMO.
But just remember it is more personal opinion than anything else.

(I switched from Phantom Autometers to Greddy's....a good choice for me )

What do you mean harness connections?The autometer gauges just have a power and ground for the light and a little fitting for whatever its for.How are other gauges setup.

ive always used greddy guages and loved them....peak hold is something i dont think autometer offers and it is really something that you cant live without after you have it...

sure you might pay 2 or 3 times the amount but its worth it IMO

Defi/JDM meters

My first boost meter I ever used was by autometer, and it was "off" by 3psi, so when I was boosting 8, it was actually 10. When I turned off the engine, the needle sat underneath the 0 line.. never bought an autometer product after that.

I threw that away and got a Sard boost meter - that one seemed to be more accurate. Then I upgraded to Sard electronic meters, and now i'm slowly (one-by-one) upgrading to Defi BF meters. So far, I have only the boost meter, but its got to be the best system I've ever used. The peak/warning features are very useful, especially when I leave my car at the shop and they promise me that they won't boost the car..
