Best Turbo Block?
i have ne choice of 1.6L d series blocks....i got a y8 fully built head n fully built block, just need 2 decide wut block 2 choose again....plz post wut u think....

First please post in proper english.
The head is really the critical point. The z6 head is the better head (flow better than the others). if you dont go z6 go with the y8. You can mix and match the blocks and heads. As for the block, if you going to build it it really is that much of a difference. Also if you already have a built block and head why do you need another one?

well, my y8 head is built already ported n all, so thats that...the 1st block i had i took it apart 2 get it honed 4 the new build...hot tank the pistons n rods...new bearings n align hone n all, well when i took the block n crank 2 the machinist, says i need a bore b/c there is a scratch in the walls...(previous owner didnt tune n sparyed the ***** out of it)
