I know this might sound dumb, the new Nitto Neo Gens. I just put them on my 16in slips and the traction is great compared to my old tires(nt450). Plus, they are great in the rain, are cheap, and get decent thread wear.

I have the Yokohama Parada Spec 2 on 17 inch rims. They hook really well. Don't have any complaints about them yet.

Re: Best tires for a boosted daily driver (_Endless_)
Traction wise i think yokohama ao32r and bfg drag radial... though treadwer makes a short life of them and they're noisy... i have s03's and traction sucks in boost but hey on slicks i love my car....

Re: Best tires for a boosted daily driver (fullracegsr)
Depends on how many miles you drive daily. If you work or school close to home get some BFG drag radials. If you on a budget than get the Azenis.

I loved my Azenis, I have problems finding them somethimes though. Which is why I'm Rollin on Khumps right now. Only thing I noticed about them, the sidewall is soft *** hell. I tried cruising back from the track with about 22psi in the RF tire. First pothole I hit bent a wheel and destroyed the tire. HAd another one that went low and I didnt realise it, it desintagrated on the highway. Pretty gnarly, it was smokin before I could get the car stopped and off the road. I'll be getting another set soon, but the spare and portable inflator are goin back in the car.

I know they arent as good as the BFGs but what about the Nitto DRs. I really dont hear of to many people using these anymore. Do they still even make them? IMO for traction purposes the Nitto DRs will be a little better than the Azenis for Drag Racing purposes.

Re: Best tires for a boosted daily driver (Boosted99Si)
I had the nitto 555r on my boosted gsr, i manages a 2.1 60ft my first time at the track. The average time on bfg's is a 2.0. I got alot of miles out of them and were totally wortht he $. I got them for $202 for both. 205/55/16. The 555r's are gd, but if you want that little extra get the bfg's.

Re: Best tires for a boosted daily driver (quikB18B)
I used to have the nitto 555dr and they sucked. wore funny, with a perfect camber and they didnt seem to stick like my dunlop fm901's do. i have had better times with these tires then i did with the nitto's.
also, i think they stopped making them in sizes for us.
