Default best stand alone for the $

i am looking to upgrade to a stand alone ecu and would like to know which would be the best deal. i am looking at the aem , but have heard of past problems and would like to know anyones experince with it or any other system .

how much do u have to spend? do u have motec money? if i ever get the money i plan on going autronic.. Also u might want to make sure that whatever system u choose, your tuner can tune it and has had a lot of previous experience with it.

not motec money but i have enough for aem, just wondering if anyone is still having problems with it.

an aem is the best IMO. i have never had any problem at all with it.

for the price aem hands down...it gets better with every software update..just some of us have a harder time using the features than others lol

if u have the $ def get AEM... buy a used one so u can always resell it and get ur $$ back.

NepTune is bad *** for the money. The next step up in my opinion is Motec.

I agree i havent gotten to play with it a whole lot but so far the hondata S300 blows nep/crome/uber/turbo edit programs out of the water. Im sure it doesnt come close to AEM tho since it has so many other features. but for the money id say S300
