Best Grade Material for Downpipe
Hey guys I am looking for opinions on the best grade downpipe to go with. I am going 3' downpipe and I need to know from the backside of the turbo what degree bed I need and whats the best grade to get? Aluminum? Stainless Steel? let me know what you guys think

The degree of bend you need depends on the manifold you have. I'll take a guess and say 90* from the turbo and another 90* to go under the oil pan, but again, that's a complete guess based on my personal setup. As for the material, you can use Aluminum but realise that it is costly and unless you're in SFWD, the benefits don't offset the cost...you may as well get stainless steel. Check the Marketplace for vendors or the Welding/Fab forum for more material-based questions...

Just get some generic steel 3" 90 or 180 if your going to be welding yourself. Paint it after its done to prevent rusting.
