Default Best A/C and P/S compatible Turbo Kits?

I'm planning on boosting my EM1, I'm not hardcore enough to take the a/c out. So which turbo kit will best suit me? A small turbo will be fine, I just want to put out around 200-250HP.

I see you are in Cali, are you needing something to pass emissions as well?

We offer 2 different A/C kits.
Here's a dyno of the Tuner kit...

used greddy 18g kit. i cant believe the sponsors ***** it up like they do. $4500 for 250whp? you're f-ing NUTS.

i love my 18g kit on my gsr. remove the crappy engine management, get it tuned on crome or whatever, have a 2.5 inch DP made, and be happy for under $1700.

edit: the car isnt slow either. 13.4@107 on ziex 912s with 43 psi in them . full interior, 4 door, full weight GSR with a full sized spare and tools in the trunk.

Ours aren't carbed unfortunately, great price, but won't pass an emissions test more than likely. I would look at a used Greddy or Edelbrock

Greddy is fine for that power level, especially in Cali where your emissions C.A.R.B demon rears its ugly head. I personally would still use it, and modify a few things such as the downpipe and retune the engine management with larger injectors (this can be done in the future) and go from there.

as for the sponsors posting their kits in this thread, i dont see where they mention that they clear BOTH AC and PS.

I liked my greddy kit on my old car, but honestly, it leaves you yearning for more power.

everyone says, "nah i'll be find with 250whp".

they get their 250whp, its awesome the 1st month, then after that, you see them up the boost or do something drastic.

i was the same way. i even got rid of the car and got an evo. i said "stock is way more than i can handle" yet i still ended up upgrading the hp levels on that car as well.

other than the greddy kit, what else clears AC and PS?

the DRAG kits seem pretty dated, anything new from them?

why not build your own kit with a meutek manifold? they clear ac and ps, i made good power with mine when i had it... drag/reghard/turbonetics i would stay away from all those kits, they all creep and are dated...

For a beginner, a drag kit can be had for like 700 bucks- send the turbo out for a rebuild for a 150 bucks, buy a set of 550cc RC for 150, and maybe 200 dolars in random little things. your at 1200 bucks plus 300 or so for a tune 1500 bucks and your good to go. Maybe even buy a Tial wastegate to avoid creep. Thats just what Id do, and did (except i just purchased a new turbo)

- my setup is 100% reliable, AC/PS fit, and it pulls just fine for a DD
