what do you think??</TD></TR></TABLE>

thats actually an interesting observation on it, the real purpose of a bov is to avoid compressor surge but yea, bleeding too much boost will definately avoid compressor surge and definately require for the turbo to spool up a lil slower id imagine. dunt get too big or too small, greddy S,RS, blitz DD, or HSK SSQV

well it takes all of a split second for the turbo to repressurize the chargepipes and if you are running a large turbo a larger exit diameter might be needed to stop compression surge.

please explain.
id like to know why it isnt the best.

i have had my turbo XS RFL for over a year and love it.
it has held from 5.5 psi to 25 psi

well im not completely bashing on the RFL, i even considered the RFL myself when i was BOV shopping. the reason i refused to buy a RFL was because of many stories posted here on honda-tech and some local turbo guys i kno that experienced boost leak with the blow-off valve, especially because of the design and placement of the bov flange itself. im glad it worked out great for you and a couple others but if you could start a thread on "whats the worst bov" i wouldn't be surprised if people shared stories how their RFL leaked boost. search, RFL aint too special.

^I want to see posts of some of those horror stories. I was going to use the RFL, but since you brought up how they leak, I might not want to use it anymore. Before I bought it, I searched around and saw nothing bad about them besides the loudness.

ive actually heard a lot of good things about the hks ssqv. i had a buddy of mine that had one and it sounded awesome. the blowoff valve itself looks unique too.

i also notice you are selling your RFL. they sound good but not worth sacrificing the performance that other BOVs can maintain.

buy a bov based on quality and performance and have the sound be the added bonus. dont look for a bov just becuase it sounds cool. Afterall turboing your honda should be for the performance and after spending all that money quality should be the priority not the way it sounds
