your old profec is one of the best, so is the new type S. I have the Profec spec 2 and it holds boost well. but you need a Bacheleors degree to figure out the little bitch.

wow you can honestly say that a manual boost controller is the "best"? hahahaha

the "best" is going to be determined by what its used for.

i had the profec type s and loved it. So easy to use. just turn a ****... but the downfall is that it wont go over around 11psi over the wastegate spring rate.

i have the blits dual sbc spec r. holding 28 psi. 4 settings, volume, ramp rate and a few other things. i am swapping out mine for the ITS because i need staged control. but it has worked flawlessly. FYI the dual sbc spec r has the same stepper as the sbc id.

Those innovative controllers are pretty cool. We used one on a friends sohc. The install is a little more involved with relays ect. but the actual controller is very easy to use. It has its own pressure sensor so the values on the screen are the actual amount of boost you want... give or take a small amount.

From what I heard its supposed to hold the boost pretty well....

I too run a Blitz DSBC Spec R.... I am looking to switch too. I was thinking the Turbo XS 4 stage or even the Turbosmart E-Boost2 so that I can have NepTune trigger my stages.

I love mine, thats all I need, 2 stages of boost, normal driving 12 psi, and racing I flipped the switch instant 21psi, no delay, no distraction messing with controlls. boost switch on steering wheel, I couldn't ask for anything better. but if I find a ebc for under $100 I would get it, but for now txsdsbc ftw

Well its pretty simple... so if it works... the only thing is that when its really cold the boost might be higher so you have to turn it down. I cant wait to get mine ! My tuner will hook it with the Hondata to make it switch automaticly by the speed.

i have a spec 2, it cool once u learn it, too bad it takes like 3 weeks to learn lol [see sig]

I like that you can use the spec2 to decrease spool. You can prolly do it with other controller, i only know about teh spec2.

But I do know i would never ever run a mbc.
