Their early ones when they started doing them msot likely won't. I had a block sleeved by them and it did not have the stamp on the front, but when I sent it back to them a year later for mroe work and reboring and honin, it came back with a stamp

I'd look for the Bensen stamp at the front underneath the engine code first. If that is not there, then ask for some kind of proof of purchase or billing from Bensen Machining/Laskey Racing.

Yes Laskey Racing is in Cali. He does not do the sleeving himself. The blocks get sent out to Bensons. Mike Laskey did assemble my motor though.

Some of the best work you'll see in a honda.

Btw, I have a Micropolished Benson Crank in my built D16z6 and it has a stamp on it...i guess some just get luckier than others

I had a block done by Benson and I requested it to not be stamped. Just my personal preferance....

Don't assume that it's not a Benson block.

yes, i own a bensons sleeved H22A1 block without a stamp. i bought it from a shop that i trust a bunch who was having all of there blocks sleeved by benson (at the time). i would just make sure that the seller can provide receipts/copies of verification. Does Bensons keep any records of blocks that he has sleeved?

What shop are you talking about? Laskey Racing?

Actually, don't quote me on this, but I'm almost positive they can supply a core and build that...instead of you sending out your block from IL.

Right.

If you call up Laskey and want to get a block/head built (or both), and depending on the "package" you purchase from them, they will send the block to Benson to get sleeved. If you don't want the block to get sleeved, then obviously you don't get Benson work
