Default bearing clearance advice..

im going to be building a motor soon and wondering if i should increase my bearing clearance a lil bit to get more oil flow i know it will slightly decrease oil pressure but it would help to carry away heat from the bearings...this is a motor with a 95mm stroke...this is what my machine shop recommended...just wonderin what u guys thing..thanks in advance...

Slightly increasing bearing clearance can help out with oiling some. Another thing you can do is open up the oiling holes in the bearings a little bit.

JG found that a .002" clearance was ideal.

taiho or daido OEM bearings @ .0015" clearance mains and rods.
