battery light comes on at 6000 rpm. WHY???

battery light comes on at 6000 rpm. WHY???
I'm running a built turbo d16 with the aem ems, and whenever I rev it past 6000 rpm the battery light comes on. Can anyone explain why or help me fix the problem??? Thanks

Go log Battery Volts through Parameters, do a pull in 3rd to log usefull data, and then if you see the Volts going down steady with Rpm then your alternator is probably defective. Battery Volts should have at least 13.5 at idle and not go down below 12 at full Rpm.
