based on reliability
i need good educated opinions here guys. if you have no experience with both of these engines please done comment.
I just boosted a b18a with high miles and i knew it wasnt going to last. I am using a garrett t25 turbo from a nissan sr20det. and dsm 450s in a da integra. In terms or reliability what should i boost next? Im going jdm and im going cheap. Its either going to be a b18B or a b20B. Which one will take the boost better? On one hand a have a better chance of getting a engine in good shape if i go with the b20b i think because its going to be an engine that was pulled out of a honda crv that never reved past 5500 rpms and was probably a family car. If i get a b18b i know it came out of an integra that any kid could have beat the hell out of before it ended up in the junk yard it was pulled from. Will the b20 rev and make power up to 7K rpms on an ls tranny? that is my only concern. But i know with 2 liters the torque will be noticably better.
