bang gears with act 6pk xtr pp and car stutters, CEL flashes on, lights go out... then normal
ok heres the scenario: driving getting on it a little maybe like 6k rpm go to shift hard into 2nd or 3rd gear and car feels like it misses or something. throws me foward a bit bc its like going from full throttle to nothing - and the CEL flashes on - then goes right off when car goes back to normal. it happens really quick. also if it happens at night my lights will go out.
car: built 84mm bore gsr, gsr tranny, obd1, hondata, act 6puck w/ xtreme clutch plate, stock flywheel
any help is appreciated.

It's VERY LIKELY a loose ground, check the ground straps to the battery and to the frame/block etc. Also checlk the + connector to your battery.
Make sure it's not shorting anywhere. I had an intake short out a battery in the past and it acted like that.
Engine moves, and something loses the connection or shorts. Should be easy to find, good luck!
If you can't find it, turn on your lights while parked, engine off. wiggle all the wires and battery, and look for the sparks. :D That's what I'd do.

problem solved i think... my battery tiedown was loose so everytime i hit a gear or went over a bump my battery would rock back and the terminal would hit the firewall, causing a short (and some fireworks ). There was also a tiny hole starting to appear in the firewall from it occuring (prolly like 10 times)...
thanks ccfries!

Glad you got that thing taken care of before a fire broke out! I almost burned a hole in an intake with the same problem.
