Bad Seals?

Default Bad Seals?

over the past couple months i've noticed oil progressivly building up on the center section of my turbo, but it looks like it's coming from the hot side. No blue smoke is coming out of the exhaust though. I dunno what's going on with this thing.

BUMP

it's the top of the turbo looking from the hot side onto the center section. You can see the top of the oil feed in the pic and the top right is the dump tube

Looks like a leaking seal to me. Does it smoke at all when it's heated up, you are right their is something going on.

Any shaft play??
All the bolts tight??

Make sure it's not coming from the line itself.
If not, it could be a seal.

0 shaft play, and 0 smoking from when it's hot.

this is just pissing me off cuz the turbo is only a year old. it's not eating much oil but it's just something in the back of my head that i don't want there, thanks for the help guys

Just keep an eye on it. If anything starts to look too bad...take it to a reputable tuner or builder and have him take a look at it for you.
