I installed my clutch yesterday
then today, i drove my car out..
everything seems fine, then i kept hearing my car backfiring
then i realized that my CEL is on, then i parked my car, and I saw my A/F ratio gauge says RICH ALL THE TIME...
then i turn off my car, unplug the ECU fuse, then wait for a while, then put it back, and start, everything works fine for the whole day...

how come this happens??

I think that CEL was a O2 sensor light... I THINK, that's why it messes the A/F, right??

I just want to know what caused that to happen.. something wrong??

Oh Also, when I was taking off my clutch, i broke a little part from the distributor, but my car starts and everything seems to be fine.. is that alright??

it doesn'tshow any CEL after i restarted

 

i dont know which cel u threw off but u were prolly in safe mode, which makes you run rich..

 

I dont know how bad that distributor cap is cracked or broken, but whatever you do, dont touch it will its running!! I learned from experience.......
