GSR wont fit cause the bolt pattern on the intake manifold is different and B16/typeR wont work cause they are also slightly diff. B18A, B18B, B20B and B20Z are all the same motors. the only difference is the B18's are 81MM bore and B20's are 84MM bore. cranks, heads, cams etc are all the same

Thank you for straightening this out! You my friend are my savior on this wonderful day (Thanksgiving AND my birthday) as I am getting ready to order my S/C. Will it make a difference that my motor is Vtec?

if your LS/VTEC or B20/VTEC then you need to get the supercharger for the head your using like this guy said. if your using a GSR head get it for a GSR. if your using a B16 or ITR head then get one for a B16.

There are a few other differences in the motor ect ect. but the one you should know is that the B20Z has a 9.6 CR while the B20B has 8.8. Ive verified this myself and there also was a huge thread on it. But if your dropping on a VTEC head and putt in new pistions then you should have all that take care of. Have fun with the SC!
