Default B20/VTEC with an SC50

Well I'm thinking about keeping my SC50 instead of selling it with the rest of my crap, and just throwing that on (hopefully) a B20/VTEC swap.

It's a 50 trim with the .63ar turbine.

The motor will be built, and I'd like to get around 400hp out of it on race gas.

Should I keep it, or sell it and buy something a little bigger...SC34?

Thanks guys
Bryson

I'm building a 2.0L GS-R and I will be using a variant of a .50-trim wheel.

I am using a SC54 on my 2.0L LSVTEC built and I wish I had went bigger for more lag. I have 10lbs at 4800 and I am almost to the 400whp mark at 10lbs

Get something bigger.

On a side note, does the b20 block have the same stroke as a b18b?

Precision says the SC50 is good for 450hp. So if your goal is around 400whp you should be ok.

Anyways...you can always use the SC50 for awhile and then sell it later. They are easy to sell here on honda-tech.

Yeah thats what I'm thinking.

This turbo was Gigantic on my ZC, but for the B20 I think it will spool a little too fast...Especially with a B16 tranny.

I'll most likely go all out with the SC61...I'm sure it will spool nicely with a 85mm bore.
