Default b20 rods in gsr?

my buddy has a set of used b20 eagle h beam rods that he wants to sell me for cheap. they are slightly used for a few months until be broke the tranny. came out of a running b20 n/a. i need to rebuild my motor and thought maybe this could be a steal for way under $200, but the question is will it work for my gsr? i read on their main site that the gsr ones are slighly longer than the b20's rod. will this affect the performance. i plan to run it with je 9:1 and hope to squeeze 400whp out of it.

for them to work you will need to put either a b20 or ls crank in your block...which will give you more stroke which will lead to more torque??? then you can use them
