well i was planning on building/porting my stock b16head....in order to obtain a more usable powerband(t3/t67).......but i came across a damaged c5 head and the price is too good to pass up(90$)......my main question is.....will there be that much more of a power gain.....when both are completly ported out and "built" w/the same parts????

and of course this is for a boosted app.

I think you'll end up with the same exact head. Except that depending on the damage it will probably cost a lot more to go with the c5 head.

BUT, I need a b16 head, so sell it to me care for $90 and we'll call it a day

 

Same head except the C5 is already midly polished from factory.

 

the C5 SUPPOSEDLY has more port work , but port and polish the b16 head and ITR cams and you will have the same if not better head all in all. the casting itself is pretty much the same

well maybe....ill just use one on an ls......who know's i guess i wasted 90$......but still a good deal for a c5 head

either way for only 200$ more it will be perfect....
