Default b18c1 turbo

I'm turboing my b18c1 and I am looking for a good turbo to run. I want to make 350hp on a bone stock gsr with arp head studs. But next year I want to build my motor and make around 500-600hp so I don't want to but another turbo next year too. Is there a good turbo that would work for both horse power ratings.

what's your budget? (maximum willness to spend on a turbocharger only) And yes there are several, but be aware that responsiveness will suffer at the lower boost pressure levels, but may respond better in the higher levels when going for over 500whp..

Have you checked other setups of similar build characteristics to narrow your choices down a bit? this is not an all-in-one question.

Ya I know it will be laggy on low boost but I'm mostly going to race it at the track so I will be able to build boost with anti-lag. Do you think a Garrett 60-1 would be a good turbo?

mmm. not really. It won't do 600whp, and is already laggy as hell in lower boost pressures. You're asking for a lot in one turbo, to try and do both for you, that's for sure.

I agree. Build for the here-and-now...when the time comes to upgrade (and build the engine, etc) then sell the turbo and buy another one. A 600whp capable turbo on a stock block at 350hp is going to have **** response and excessive lag

Pick up a T3/T04e 50 trim for now and upgrade in the future
