If you are unsure about what all to use you might want to look into having a professional make recommendations and build the motor for you. Lasky Racing (Earl) or RLZ Engineering are both great well known engine builders. Search and you will find plenty of info about them on this forum.

How much money are you wanting to spend?? cuz that obviously determines what all you'll be able to do.

I see. Well since money isn't an option at the moment Here's what I'd do:

Sleeve to 85mm (to reach ~2.0L of displacement)
Weisco 8.8:1 Pistons
Pauter Rods
Stock Crank Micropolished and Balanced or ITR Crank

no just stick with stock crank, just micropolish and balance it, and i'd go with a little higher compression than 8.8:1...more like 9.2:1-9.5:1

Just send your block to earl at Lasky Racing, they'll do it all.

I'll second that. This is coming from personal experience as he built my block this past spring. Laskey Racing has GREAT customer service!

Sleeve your block with Benson Sleeves (From Laskey Racing), Go CP 9:1 pistons 83mm, Pauter Rods, LS Crank, and Benson balanced crank, ITR oil and water pumps that setup will handle 30psi for years

You can contact Howard the owner of RLZ on here his screename is airshifter or email him is also good speedinnovations@ctc.net , it is hard to get ahold of them by phone a lot because there are two people there, Brad Z ports heads all day everyday and Howard builds motors and tunes. Email or PM or do both and you will hear back from them. They currently have my block and head and doing my build up, in the mean time I just have a shakedown motor installed until they work their magic. I made 90whp on low boost just from their ported head and made 60whp on high boost just from the head swap Tell them Terry aka Boostfed sent you too

Edit:Also don't start the block off at 85mm!!!! If you need to rebuild it you have no room then for FI, you then have a block for NA! Start at 83mm or even 84mm that way if you have an issue you can overbore later. You won't see a huge difference from 84mm to 85mm anyways, READ I said not a huge difference.
