Default B18C with B16A head.. why is it better?

ok, well I understand that you will obtain higher compression by droping a B16A head onto a B18C, but how does it help create more power in a turbocharged environment apart from raised compression?

You're going to get different answers from everyone on this, but my opinion is that the P72 head is superior to a PR3 head, and if ported slightly is superior to the PR3-R casting head. I like the intake ports much better in size and in finish, as well as the exhaust ports. The valves are less shrouded in the combusion chamber, and the combustion chamber seems to be easier to machine as well as nicely shaped from stock.

Your compression ratio will actually drop(.2) if you put a b16 head on a b18c, because the quench area is larger on a b16 head.

A gsr head is better IMO.
