b18a turbo or b18c turbo?

b18a turbo or b18c turbo?
i have a 1991 integra, and have both a b18a1 or b18c1 to put in it. i am going to turbo it and i want to know what motor to run, i hear b18a's are better to turbo then b18c's becouse vtec doesnt like the boost,what do u think?

Actually, B18C will hold more power in a reliable fashion, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't go with the B18A.
Define your power goals, where you want to take the car, and finances. For a street application you may opt out for the B18A... due to it's low revving nature, you'll be making more low to midrange torque than the B18C can hold, in a streetable application, which is easy to drive and pretty swift.
You can also sell the B18C for about 2.5 GOOD LS engines. If you plan on driving the car a lot and being hard on it, having a backup engine - a cheap readily available one - is a nice thing.
