Default b18a build help?

so i have a 90 integra ls with a b18a or a1? I don't know the difference, i'm new to tuners. Well anyways, i just got my head milled, new valves+guides, springs+retainers, all stock replacements. The cylinder walls are flawless and it didn't burn oil to begin with and ran great untill i blew the head gasket. well i would love to keep this engine and build the crap out of it but i have no idea where to look for parts, brands or even what kind of build to do. i'm putting all my spare money into the engine and nothing on the body...yet, but my funds are somewhat limited. i want to turbo it and use my stock motor and run around 6 psi, but i hear turbo kits are not to be trusted, yet i don't know what i would need to make my own turbo set up for my car. Or would n/a be a cheaper/safer way to go? i have the skill to put anything in my car. so any help would be great. also i'm going to swap the auto tranny for a 5 speed, does anyone know what year/make/model i could pull one from that's not just the same year and car?

Your engine is a b18a1.

Forget everything you've heard and start readin the FAQ at the top of the forums

Since your new to Hondas this link to an overall list with FAQs and DIYs will also be helpful.

FAQ/DIY list for integras:

Auto to 5 spd DIY for integras, You can use any Transmission out of a 90-93 integra and with a Hydraulic conversion kit you can use any B-series tranny out of any 90+integra and 99-00 civic Si. If you plan on going turbo I recommend going with a GSR transmission off the bat, if you want to go all motor get an ITR tranny or a tranny out of a 99-00 Civic Si

Also just go through the FI forums and read any threads that interest you.

Yes all cable transmissions will bolt right up. I even missed listing a few. Any hydraulic transmissions will require some extra work but not too much.

Go to the wikipedia page for Honda B-series Engines and at the bottom theres a List of all the transmissions, what cars they come out of, whether they are cable or hydro and more.

to go turbo on a budget is kind of hard just because you cant really go cheap with things. do some research, the links ryank327 posted are a great start and/or you can always just google. just if you do turbo the stock motor member to upgrade AT LEAST the fuel pump and also get a good tune (dont go cheap on that)
