b17a block...with b16crank and rods?
B16A and B17A blocks are the same dimensionally, it's just the internals and the block stamp that make it a B17A. You can drop B16A crank/rods/pistons in it and it will be a 1.6. You don't need custom rods or pistons if you are using all B16A internals.

thats wut i thought....hmm. Are u sure about this? cuz i have just cracked the sleeves on my b16a block and i found a pretty cheap b17a block. I was just gonna swap the blocks and use all my b16a internals.
Thats true if you destroke it ... but you still have to line hone the main caps to match the crank or your freaking spin some ****
If i got a b17a block could i use my b16a crank, rods, and pistons in it?
I have no idea why B18turbo says: Thats true if you destroke it ... but you still have to line hone the main caps to match the crank or your freaking spin some ****
I didn't have to do that and my engine ran fine up until the point of my car getting stolen, so there.
