Default B17 turbo

Hey im looking to turbo a b17 with arp rod bolts and head bolts and i Am wondering what would be the highest and safest psi for stock internals. I am thinking about runing 10 psi and i want to know how long it will last. My goal is 300 hp.
Thanks

You cant go by PS! alone... 10psi on a small turbo is much different than 10psi on a large. Do you have a turbo or kit in mind?

Go to the Forced Induction forum and read the FAQs and every sticky. When you're done reading go back and re-read it 3 more times.

If you buy intercooler piping and intercooler separately from the turbo and manifold, you will run into fitment issues and have to pay a fabber to basically make your i/c piping out of the ebay piping kit. If I were you, I'd just look for a complete used kit. They seem to be everywhere.

I don't know. Can it? Have you at least done a compression test? Better start reading up now.

And? Does it have the stock pistons/rods? Do a compression test. At least verify the engine is truly healthy. Stock B-series are good for 300HP easy on stock internals.
