b16turbo + cams ??
Im in the turboing my turbo b16. My goal is to run a sub13 in the 1/4th. Im using the 18g turbo and plan on using 10 psi. I was wondering if i leave the bottom end stock and get stage 2/3 cams with new springs, ret, etc could this goal be acomplished with a good tune. Im trying to rely on the tunning for the most part.

im tryin to do the same with my stock b16. I'm jus kinda new to the turbo thing so jus wondering if you guys either could point me in the right direction to finding out more about boost stock b16's or if you guys had any information. Also will a t3/t4 runing about 6 to 8 psi daily be ok with a tune obviously. Pretty sortly after the setup is on there i will be purchasing another block and jus messing around with that jus incase something happens. Any help would be appreciated!

a stock b16 can handle about 11psi with a REALY good tune,
But withe my set up I had mentioned before, How much gain could i get with an upgreaded head??

it has NOTHING to do whatsoever with how much psi. I dont know where this rumor started, or how this information came about but it only has to due with the amount of power made.
If you really want cams, I would either get GSR cams or 00,01 ITR cams, or CTR cams, they both provide more power than the b16 cams, and you can find them for pretty cheap.
Youll be able to run 13's with the 18g.
I havent ran it at the track, but Im thinking Im running pretty low to mid 13's with my setup. Its a b18c1 with an 18g, 8 spiking to 13 psi... Dont ask me.. the tuner did it.

if you want to go low 13's a stock b16 boosted will do that real easy. You can make 300whp pretty easy on a stock b16 bottom end you should have no problem hitting 13s on a stock b16.

any b16 cam except auto cams, they are a little smaller. not 100% sure on first gens either. i went 10.7's with gsr cams.
if you goal is only 13's, you can do it with stock b16 cams.
