B16a1 VS B16a2 boosted
i like to hear your opinion on the following Question.
What block would be the best for boost...??
a2 block+tranny's ar verry hard to come by.
I would like to run the A1 on a obd1 ecu + a2 intakemanfold and do a Hydro to cable tranny conversion.
ps: sorry for the bad typing.... i'm from europe

the a2 also has oilsquirters for cooling the pistons.. the a1 hasn't

Re: B16a1 VS B16a2 boosted (SiRkid)
I see on that site that the clean *** black CRX got crunched up... Was that your car? If so, what happened?
The Euro B16a1, yes with a 1 behind it, is 150 HP.
It's the least powerful DOHC VTEC engine ever made.
I think it's all in the cams, and ECU tuning, nothing to do with block, pistons, etc, therefore, the engine would be equally posed for turbo performance.
