B16 turbo setup
My friend got hold of a jdm b16, I think out of a siR. Will be going into a 91 civic hatch si
Turbo setup will include:
TD05 16g
stock flanged manifold
2.5 downpipe
seperated dump tube
jrc fmic
RC550cc
255 fuel pump
blitz old school blowoff valve
stock wastegate is at 11lbs I think. will be tuned on crome
probably clutch specialties six puck clutch 6 puck clutch
We are hoping for 220-250whp and expecting the turbo to spool at 2k and drop off from 11lbs to 8lbs after 6k.
What kind of axles should he run? Should he go with a 3in exhaust or will 2.5 be fine? This will be strictly a street car since here on Oahu we no longer have a track.
Any advice will be appreciated. thanks

Man U FTW
go to NAPA or Advanced Auto and get the standard axles w/ the lifetime guarantee....that is, if he ever breaks one.
2.5" would be fine, but 3" would allow for slightly faster spooling...not worth it on your set up IMO.
