Default B16 turbo, running lean at boost

Hey! As the topic says my b16 is running very lean when it starts to gain boost (3000rpms). I've tryed to adjust the fuel in the s300 but it dosen't change anything. Can it be a bad FPR or injectors? And btw, i'm getting CEL 16 (injector error).

Running, RC550cc, walbro fp, stock rail and regulator.

The car runs great on the lower revs.

Are you running a resistor box with the RC injectors?? If not they wont work correctly. Take the car to a tuner for the tuning dont try to do it yourself.

The car is an 99 SI so i shouldn't need that resistor box? I've been using this injectors on my b16 SC without any problems :/

Correct, as long as the injectors are saturtated (high impedance) then you do not need a resistor box.

since the car is obd2, did you have to switch to obd1 style clips to install the injectors? if so check the wiring and make sure all the injectors are plugged in tightly

Your Honda runs High Impedance injectors and RC injectors are normally Low Impedance. Not all are just make sure they are the correct type.

Unable to drive the car now, it's like someone is cuting the fuel when i push the throttle :/ Checked all wiring and measured the ohm on the injectors, everything is looking good. Can i have something wrong with my distributor?

if its coding 16 you have a wiring problem or burnt injectors or something. you need to get rid of that code 16 before even attempting to get into boost.

What fuel pump are you running? Could be a bad pump also. Look at fuel pressure if you have a gauge too.

Changed out the injector clips to some new ones, also checked the fuel pressure (raised to 45psi). Still getting code 16 :/ Any more suggestions?

Again make sure the RC injectors are not low impedance.

trace the continuity of each injector wire to the pin out on the ecu. sounds like faulty wiring to me.

Didn't know rc made saturated injectors? If they are peak and hold, w/ out a resistor box you will kill your ecu...

they make saturated injectors up to 750cc. have done so for quite a while now.

Measured all injectors to 2.4 ohms. And all cabels are fine! More suggestions?

so you need a resistor box

How come it worked before? And is my ECU all messed up now or can i just install the resistor box?

if you don't run resistors with low impedance injectors you can burn up your ecu.

See told u. Get an Accord resistor box or go to Radio Shack and get some 5ohm resistors.

Iv heard the radio shack resistors can't handle the watts and will burn up too.

Installed a resistor box, still the same problem! So now to the question, what transistor controls the injectors?
