Thanks for taking the time to look at this and hopefully your have some help full info..... I'm building a car for my g/f. Its a eg hatch and the motor of choice is a 82mm sleeved b16. Wiesco 9:1 comp pistons with eagle rods. Stock B16 head besides prolly ITR cams. She wants to keep ac and make around 400whp on pump. I have a deal lined up on a brand new AFI ac kit. The kit is a nice kit, but its got a T3/T4 57 trim. Now, I know I can make the power with the turbo but I was thinking more like a T3 big 60-1. Also the kit only has 2 inch hot side piping. IDK if that would be a problem when it comes to making more power. Lets get yalls thoughts and ideas. I really dont want to have to do this twice.

 

you will make good power have a 81.5 b16 9-1 pistons and a stock head with a 57 trim garrett turbo i made 450 at 20 psi i have 3" cold side piping and 2.5

 

Do you think the 2 inch hot side pipe will hurt more power?

i dont think it will be a problem. most likely the turbo has a 2" compressor outlet anyways.

also you mentioned a super 60, dont run a straight t3. i dont think it will make the power you are looking for

 

I need to edit that first post, its the T3 big 60-1. After talking to The Shodan were are going to fun the basic AFI kit I getting and see what it makes. This is my g/fs car so it doesn't have to be stupid fast.
