B16 Turbo problems!!
I recently just boosted my jdm b16 like last week. Felt really good when we were street tuning it, but last night the turbo pipe fell off the intercooler ( the one coming off the turbo going to the intercooler on the driver side.) After i fixed everything made sure everything was tighten down the car doesnt feel the same. I also have a slight stutter when i tap on the gas i dunno if its a stutter or skip. Car runs smooth when driving. Just when i rev it in my garage so i can hear everything sounds like it skips when i punch on the pedal. Never use to do this. Also the car isnt pulling how it use to. I use to spin in second all the time n now it never does even when i shift hard going into second. I lost power somewhere. I checked my plugs, leaks, lines, etc. Cant figure out what happened. The last thing i want to know is that my motor is falling apart. Its a stock b16 boosted on 8psi. Someone told me it could be my piston going bad or my turbo from driving like a mile when that pipe came off. I wasnt running a filter on my turbo either... I know its bad i just had to wait to get custom pipe made to fit everything perfect.
Ive had a problem of the boost before it never holds boost at high rpm for some reason. I tightened everything up and still doesnt hold boost. People say its my exhaust being to small but than i hear other stuff that i got a boost leak somewhere. But even before when it wouldnt hold boost it would pull hard. After last night its not been the same. Like i said i would spin in second all the time n now i never do.

Take a video of what the car is doing.

Do a vacuum/boost leak test. Its quite possible you street tuned the car with a slight vacuum leak which showed itself completely after and resulted in the IC piping falling off. Where are your A/F ratios under load? If the vacuum leak is now fixed you have to go back to fine tune it again to compensate the change.
step3.
Explain what you mean by "Exhaust being too small" ? run with the exhaust disconnected from the downpipe until you fix the tune properly.
Step 4.
Make sure you have taken the filter off the turbo inlet (if there is one) and inspected the blade fins for damage.
