Default B16 sohc turbo help.....

Here's the deal everytime I floor the gas pedal on my b16 turbo powered rex it bogs out really bad. But if I just accelerate gradually it's fine. I took my car to get dynoed a while back and I thought it would solve the problem but guess what it's still does the same thing. A few things that I can think of are replacing the the fuel filter, bad vacuum routing, and it could be that the sohc ported turbo manifold is still just to small and it's causing the engine to choke out. Any info will be appriciated thanx. One more thing there has been no codes thrown.

Are you sure you're not detonating?

Thank you. And no it's not detonating no pinging what so ever. It runs good and all but like I said as soon as I floor it, it just seems as it wants to turn off it boggs that bad.

I'm not familiar with setting the afc, but I would maybe try getting a wideband on there and playing with the settings. Or you could just sell it all and get a standalone

Well the v-afc is tuned already it's just hard trying to find what's causing it to bogg so bad.

my guess is... its not too rich, so it must be... what gear are you in when you punch it? or is it off the line too? what are you afc settings as well.
