Default sohc vtec turbo vs. b16????

which would be better for freeway runs. i have a decision on both and can't decide which way to go. sohc would be boosting 7-9 lbs. b16 would have i/h/e.

B16 is basically stock is designed to produce 160hp.

SOHC turbo will be in the same area but is only build to handle 120hp. Will probably have a little more torque.

I think SOHC will break first before the b16 both daily driven in the same manner for a given amount of time.

I agree the sohc would be better but would fail after a while. The sohc can only hold 50hp over stock due to weak rods and you would add 60-90hp
