Default B16 setup questions

99 b16a2 complete swap over with ls tranny

My question being with just a 1.6L with the ls tranny what is a decent size turbo to go with? I dont want it to be really laggy since the ls tranny takes forever to rev up on a b16.

I was thinking a t3/t4 50 trim with a .48 a/r...hoping to squeeze around 280-300 whp on it

I personally ran a T04E for the longest. It spooled great for me. .48 you will have great low end power but lack top end. A .63 is a mid ranged housing decent mid to top and .82 is a top end housing.

--If you are going for low end 50 trim .48 housing would suite you great.

--for mid .63 housing with the 50trim would be good for you as well

just my .02 hope it helps

go with the .63 the top end gain will out weigh the small amount of spool lost most every time unless road racing is all you do
