Default b16 rev limit

i have a stock b16 and i plan on raising the rev limiter its at 7000 for now
i don't want to set it back up to 8300
do you think 8000 is safe with about 7 psi
thanks

I was shifting my stock b16 bottom end @8500 rpm and 20 psi on an sc61 today with no problems. Although i don't recommend this for a daily driver or if u have any sense at all, but its possible cause i did it.

My limiter is set at 8800 rpm. I shift at 8500 rpm during racing. Stock valves + springs.

my shift light is set at 8000 and i shift there. its seen higher before, missing gears. but i dont like to let it sing much higher. i dont know how a motor with a stock 8200 rpm rev limitor could safely be reved much higher stock. that defeats the purpose of the rev limitor
