Default B16 block question

Guys,
My friend sent his car to this shop to get it rebuild. Instead of using his existing b16a2 block, he bought a JDM b16a block from the shop to save down-time, i was wondering if theres any difference between the two block and is it compatible with the b16a2 head and everything.

yeah, its compatible. the only difference in the two blocks, would be that the JDM block would have a slightly higher c/r piston the the USDM one. but other then that their the same and completely compatible with the USDM head.
