b16 b18b questions......
Okay, right now i have enough money to get either a b18b LS or b16 SiR-II swap. I know the b18b will be better for boost because of the extra displacement will make more TQ. But, ive always wanted a motor that rev's high and has vtec. Which ever motor i get im definatly going turbo so i think i might get the B16 now then, after i turbo it I'll get a b18c GSR block with forged internals and swap that out for the b16 block. So do you guys think that would be better than getting an LS becaue the b16 also comes with a better tranny.
i cant afford a gsr right now so thats out of the question.
so its these options:
B18b LS w/ DRAG Gen III Turbo Kit
B16 Head / B18C Block w/ DRAG Gen III Turbo Kit
any suggestions??

If you're broke, get something you can afford to replace when it breaks, and run it conservative. You don't want to go into debt (massively) over cars.
im not really broke. i make about $200 a week and i only pay for a cell phone and half of my insurance every 6 months. plus, i have another car to drive if anything happens to my civic (88 celebrity like whoa). i'll probably just get the b16 then put in the gsr block when i decide to go forged internals. what do bare b18c blocks go for??
wouldnt this setup also be a little better than a gsr and a lot better than an LS??
