B-series Quick 4 Manifold and Ported S housing questions
Ok, so I have a custom turbo setup with a custom Quick 4 manifold that has a 38mm wastegate and has a TD05 flange on it for my old EVO III 16g turbo setup. As I stepped away from LS motors and have a fully built stroked and sleeved B16 now, I'm looking to upgrade my turbo.
I'm looking at a Precision 5858 with the .63 Mitsubishi housing and the Ported S cover housing. My manifold is real similiar to the Spoolin's Quick 4, and I don't have AC. Any information would be helpful before I order one.
1. Will the Ported S housing clear my block facing towards the driver's side?
2. Do you think the 38mm wastegate will control the 5858 or should I upgrade?

What are your goals?? You may want to get a EVO 8 THO5H-R twin scroll, they do very well in the 400-450whp range. Some one on here is in the 10's with that turbo. I dont like the rep Precision has for failing turbos.

My future goal was to hit about 500whp on pump gas or close there to. The EVO 8 turbo is a nice setup, but would require me to have a new manifold made as the twinscroll flange is different. Do you have a link to his build?
