Anywhere you go you have to pay for dyno time...that's not my charge. Especially in Hawaii where everyone knows everyone else, the customer usually has a friend or knows someone who knows someone who owns one of the dynos. Or they might have a preference as to which dyno to tune at. In Hilo you guys only have one dyno (Oahu has 4), but Rob's rates are reasonable. Also, I have no control over how well the rest of the car is set up. If something happens like the intercooler pipes keep blowing off or you have a coolant leak etc, am I supposed to foot the bill for the dyno time while you're fixing your car on the dyno? That is why I do not try to include the dyno usage charges in my price.
