I have the KKK K26 turbo off of an audi and i wanna put it on my stock d16z6. I am goin to as soon as i find a wastegate for it. Preferrably one from a junk yard. Anybody know of any audis that might be in a junkyard that have a wastegate i can use.

 

dont forget about the saab's too, look at them also

 

I have a saab turbo also. I have a KKK K26 and a saab t3 with a wastegate. I just wanna use the audi turbo because it is bigger. And someone told me that i could get and audi external wastegate for the K26. But if i can find one then i will just use the saab turbo.

older S4s have the WG you want. I know a 94 has it, I used to work on one of them. I would guess you woun't be able to use the pipe it's mounted on though. But you'll need to make some of your parts anyway.

 

I am not sure how likely I will be to find a 94 S4. Is there any older audi's that might have one. Like one I could easily find in a junkyard.

 

I find external WGs at the junkyard about as often as I find volk wheels there. A ten year old car was a pretty good lead I thought. Maybe go to an S4 forum, some people must know where to get one or something.

Aight thanks alot man. I cant ever find them at junkyards either except for the ones that are on like saab turbos or something. But yeah i can find 10 year old cars just fine. Just not any S4's. LOL. But maybe just to avoid all of the difficulties and headaches, I might just go ahead and put the saab t3 that I have on my car. Even though I would have much rathered put on the audi turbo. But either one I end up putting on. At least I will finally be seeing boost.
