Default attn: Arturbo and MarkC

I ordered a Helm manual and supplement this afternoon, is there any ohter reference I need to get.

I'm tired of doing this crap blind... it seems simple but there are so many things I overlook out of sheer stupidity.

I'm off to buy a torque wrench tomorrow after work as well...

any manuals on turbo's and such I need?

Dammit man, you could've used mine for a little while to get your car fixed up....

Call me or IM me...I wanna see how things are going for you and if you fixed your problems yet.

As far as good turbo books, there is at least one. I don't know the name of it...It was written a few years back, but is supposed to be really informative. Anyone?

I think the helms is a good reference to have. That is what I use and it has come in handy sooo many times. Thats probably all you need.

Maximum boost by corky bell.

Ryan.. this is something i have put off since day one of my turbo install. A manual that I should have gotten before I did my first mod, it might have saved me a few dollars...

Art helped me figure out it's most likely the gasket seal... of which i don't have torque specs and a new gasket (both on the way as of today).. after i get the gasket (my boss will swing by to pick up tomorrow).. and the manual I'll have everything for this problem.. then it's on to the other goodies...

If you want to come by for moral support and help, I have all the beer and chips we need...

oh... i left my jacket in your back seat i think.. LOL bring it with you the next time you come by or once i'm back up and runing i'll come by so we can put the rest of the stuff in.

maximum boost.. consider it ordered tomorrow.

thanks again art.. your a lifesaver.. and i'll have the TB and sensor in the mail most likely this weekend...

Dont worry about the TB for now, just get your car fixed first. I dont have any use for it right now. Take your time and get it back on the road.

I'm not trying to hate here but when you spend $4000 boosting your $3000 motor why would you not spend the $60 on the helm manual? I've learnt more from my helms than I have from any auto class I've taken, it's invalueable for anyone that wants to work on their honda.
