Attention: XLR8 4U / Turbo Black Prelude in Rockville, MD
I saw a black Turbo Prelude license plate "XLR8 4U" in Rockville. Anyone know him? His car seems pretty slow.

was it a new prelude? haha, yea i think i've seen him too. from what i hear its just a non intercooled greddy kit at 5.5psi.

yeah, his car looks sleeper. only thing that gives it away is the intercooler behind it.

Aight. Here's the scoop.
He ran 14.08 at MIR because he didn't want to launch, fearing of mad tire spin and he granny shifted all the way to the end. It was his first day at MIR, so he was madly nervous. His reaction time sucked big time.
As many of you know, with a 4 banger, you really have to rev the car pass 3k rpm or so to get it really moving. So, all the bov sounds that you all heard at Rockville was the result of this. Since his turbo spools up really quick, it's hard for him to avoild the BOV sound.

omg, he post the vid he got of me yesterday....i wasn't even racing him...
i saw a lude pull up, looked over, saw a guy with a camera. i was in 3rd or 4th gear, dont remember, i didn't even downshift, i just hit tha gas a little.(didn't want to race, we were on rockville pike, around 10 pm, way to hot to race.) so at about 60mph or so i just let it off......
in the vid it looks like he pulled like 10 cars on me....
haha....oh well....

wish the videos were longer. some of them are just too short to even tell. some of them look more like catchin up and drive by runs, haha. nice car though
