Arp head studs...Quick Question

Hey, taking my head off after blowing the headgasket on my b20/vtec. What size is the nut on the ARP head studs? (b16 block) I know its 12 point but 1/2inch socket seems to fit better than 13mm? Is it a Imperial nut?

ive always used a 13mm 12point never any problems

I always use a 1/2", that seems to work fine as well.

ARP is an american company and the actual size is 1/2".
