ARP Head Stud Difference?
Hey everyone, just trying to find out something here. I bought a whole set up from a friend of mine and it came with brand new ARP headstuds, they still had the plastic wrapped around them. So we were trying to get the headstuds in and come to find out there were 1 that wouldn't go all the way into the head. So I am trying to figure out the difference between the head studs?
I seen there was the one for the 88-95 d16 engines
Part# 208-4301
Then there was another for the 96-00 d16 engines
Part# 208-4305
I have a D16a Vtec engine, with a built shortblock. It is in a 96 Civic, so I think that the Studs might have been bought for the newer one, but unsure because I have already thrown the box away.
If you all could help me out on this that would be awesome, as I am going to end up buying some new head studs to get it all done on my car. Thanks in advanced.

Re: ARP Head Stud Difference?
heres an easy way to tell what head studs you need
is there a drain plug on the front of your block? yes? get 88-95 head studs
is the drain plug for the coolant on the back of the block? get 96-00 head studs.
