Arias or JE???
im planning to build my motor soon and just wanted to know which is a better piston. cause i know arias has there new forging i believe with no silicone in the piston
Arias or JE? id say whichever you find cheaper cause both are good pistons and chances are that something else will fail before an Arias or JE piston reaches its limit.

I'm not too sure, but I've heard that Arias have less silicon content than JE.. so they will have more piston slap when you start the car cold. Like I said, its just something I've heard. As you can see in my sig, I'm a JE guy.

The sleeves couldnt handle it, not the pistons. Those pistons look kinda high cr too(it's a B20turbo) with bad tuning.
i have that happened to me once. i had JE pistons and they were fine, just nice 3" line crack on the sleeve that is all.
when something breaks it is because of the ( driver/owner) ERROR not because of a bad parts.
if you want cheap piston's stick with stock and just lower your static compression via a head gasket as long as the fuel and timing are tuned right you will be fine.
i have seen stock internals GSR motor with head gasket to lower the compression and are running 11's so spend your money else where........like paying your credit card debts.

I have had better experience with Arias...their costumer service is great and turn around time is good for custom applications... I doubt you will be able to tell the difference between the two pistons, so go with the better price and you should be fine.
