Default APEXI AVC-R Boost controller

Hey everyone, i got a question. I've been told by many that the AVC-R works just like the V-AFC. Is this true becasue i don't want to spend more then i have to. I really don't want to buy something that works the same, but just one of them doesn't have a feature such as a VTEC controller. I want to do thing right the 1st time and not the second time around. Any replies will do. Thanks in advance.

Eric

AFC and AVC-R arn't anything similar to each other in what they do. AVC-R controls boost, AFC controls fuel trim. AVC-R's are a pain in the *** to get up and running tho.

They aren't that tricky if you sit down and have someone teach you what is what. If you have trouble with your AVC-R make a post, we'll help you out

Yes they are different. The S-AFC is for non-vtec and the v-afc is for vtec... which can also control vtec engagement.
