Diamonds are a STAPLE of Chicago and Detroit. That company is fantastic when it comes to options and compressions. You can even purchase a 5th piston at a nominal charge so that in case something goes wrong, you have another one right there ready to go.

I plan to order a set myself this year. Better than JE and my beloved Wiseco Even..

There are literally so many options that the possibilities are limitless, I would give them a call.

I used a 10.2:1 compression 84mm to match with a GE sleeved B18c Block with a coating on the skirts ( I know the coaters they use, so they are a trustworthy source).

They are a local hero in the Motor City. What I like most is the fact that they are ISO9001 cert (http://www.diamondracing.net/162Diam...EXP-1-2009.pdf)

Give them a CALL, and discuss your options. They like that better than E-mail

Can't released what I paid, but the average is about $480-$500. The fact is though that this is cost for custom compression, skirts, profiles, etc. I think that is the real benefit. PLUS, you can even purchase single units if needed.

Im assuming you have dealer pricing, so 20% less then what you said, which actually isnt bad at all considering regular old box pistons cost about the same.

Not all dealer pricing is the same. Never assume any percentage.
