Default anyone using Defi Link Display ???

what is needed for this to work ? i dont really under stand what its saying

Defi-Link Display is a multipurpose monitor which provides information on speed, oil temperature, water temperature, oil pressure, fuel pressure, and exhaust temperature by connecting to the Defi-Link Control Unit II or the Defi-Link Control Unit. Defi-Link Display can be connected to Defi-Link Meters and Defi-Link Meter BFs by using the DAISY CHAIN wiring system.

im thinking all i need is this....
Defi Link Display
Defi Control Unit

here is a pic of the control unit

what im not really under standing is how that unit can read oil pressure, fuel pressure, and exhaust temperature from stock sensors ? if it can then thats kinda a good deal for 400.00 you can read all that on one display!

can somone please help me ?

No you need to the contoller then all the gauges that you want to run deom Defi also. You hook up the sensors that come with the gauges to the controller from the controller to the gauges. Thats what ties it all together. The display is optioanl I think.

There are many guys on here that have this setup, I'm sure they can give you a better idea of how it all works.

I believe "Tony the tiger" has this system in his Camry also.

you're corret- its liek 1500 bucks. the display unit is an add-on to put all the readings in one place. thats about it. you still need the gauges and sensors and link stuff for it to work

That’s not needed You guys are misleading this guy!
You buy the link display, control unit, and INDIVUDAL SENSORS!
No need to buy the gauges, just the sensors
Do it! You will love it

correct. all you need is the controller unit and the necessary gauges. the gauges come with the wiring you need and other misc. items. the display is another "add-on" you can buy.

I have it! I only have the display on my dash for guages (boost, EGT, Fuel psi, oil psi, oil temp)!!

You buy the display, the controller and the sensors of your choice! The damn pressure sensors require a 1 kidney sacrifice before purchase. I actually already had the gauges so I bought the display and sold the gauges to friends who wanted to be cheap.
